Let my people go! "Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, `This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me." NIV Exodus 1:8 God's people, the Israelites were Egyptian slaves They toiled for Pharaoh until each reached an early grave God told Moses, go! Tell Pharaoh to let my people go, Let my people go! Take thy rod and cast it; it shall become a serpent, go Pharaoh said no! Use thy rod and turn the river into blood, go Pharaoh said no! Smite all thy borders with frogs, go Pharaoh said yes then later said no! God's hand sent lice throughout the land but Pharaoh said no! God sent swarms of flies but Pharaoh said no! God sent thunder, hail and fire but Pharaoh said no! God sent locusts to eat every tree but Pharaoh said no! God sent darkness of night but gave the Israelites light But Pharaoh said no! God sent an angel of death to slay every firstborn child But the angel passed over God's people saving each Israeli child With cries in the night Pharaoh finally let God's people go. But when God's people crossed the great Red Sea, Pharaoh army did pursue And the split sea walls collapsed, when the last of God's people came through And all of Pharaoh's horsemen drowned as waters swirled high and low When Pharaoh wouldn't listen to God's Holy call, Let my people go! Newell: I recently read where scientists have found the remains of a large number.......I think it said around 500....chariots, lying on the bottom of the Red Sea. They have been dated to the time of Moses. Did you happen to see that article? They definitely feel it was the army pursuing Moses and his people. Betty Lou Hebert |

Hi Betty! No, I didn't see the article. But I am not one bit surprised. Some of the most accomplished scientists alive today are saying that they now believe that only God could do the things documented in the Bible and make everything like they are discovering. And I believe that all truth is verifiable! That is the only way we can tell the difference between illusion and truth. There is no magic! I call God's work, Spiritual Physics.
