My thoughts churn like oceans waves ~
like breakers that crash the shore.
But my concern need not be mine alone,
if I remember to open the door.

For the love of God can flood my heart
and calm my raging seas.
A peace like nothing I can do on my part
fills my soul and refreshes me.

Now the waters of life are still and calm.
They shimmer like a tranquil lake.
This Living Water soothes like a balm.
Christ did it all for my sake.

Don’t let rising tides threaten your peace.
Be still and know that He is God.
Your heart and mind will find release.
Living Water tastes so good!

Cheryl,

As is your poem, it is so refreshing to know that there are waters for the thirsty in spirit that will satisfy to the point that we need never thirst again.  -Bob
