Angelic Visit An angel came to me this night, And caught me unaware, I never knew that angels, Were oh so very fair. Her cheeks were pink and round, Her eyes as crystal blue, Her hair hung down in golden strands, And my excitement grew. Her gown was edged in gold, With sparkles all about, It shimmered in the wind, I kept from shouting out. With crown of flowers on her head, I stood in wonderment, Her wings were edged with silken thread "Oh How did this begin? Why had she come to visit me ?" Oh, what a beautiful image be it imaginary or not ... for the chance to catch a glimpse into the heavenly world of angels is such a marvelous treat ... I do believe that the heavenly host is as lovely and more than what you or I have words to express ... but you have done a very fine job here at bringing this dear angel to life. I love your description of the heavenly, Floria but I also love earthly angels who wear flesh and kindness and goodness. Often when I see the homeless on corners begging for money or food, I wonder if they could be angels sent by God to test our human hearts. Oh, that I may pass that test. Bob thank you, after my son passed away I dreamt of angels, I cant put into words what I saw, I just cannot. But this came from there, from my soul, and it is just a minute part of what I saw. thanks bob. floria |

Floria: This struck such a responsive chord in me. After we lost our only grandson, I had such strange things happen for many months afterwards. I would think I saw angelic beings in shadows and in bright lights. It finally went away, but I always felt it was reassurances from God. Betty Lou Hebert |

It is trillium. Oh my, I just cannot even imagine losing a grandchild.And an only one. I have just one who is six and trillium I cannot imagine. I am so sorry for you. I do believe you saw a vision comforting you. thanks for reading and replying and God bless. floria |

Sea, that is really a compliment, because if you read my other posts, I am always getting help from other poets ( which I thrive on) because I never pay attention to meter. I just write from the soul..and if this happens to be in meter, it is purely accidental and I thank you for telling me that it is. floria |
