God's Love sent you to me this night,
dear sweet daughter mine.
You called to cry of hearts defeat,
to find a shoulder warm with love,
a mothers ear with judgement not.

You asked for Wisdom's comfort.
I gave you a mothers words to heal.

Today I hear a peace in you,
and I thank our Lord,
for His Grace He gives,
that I could be a healing source,
and you, my love,
an open heart to hear,
most beautiful daughter mine.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

ellie: A daughter is such a blessing, as are sons of course. When we can counsel our children and see the words of God taking root, it is such a wonderful experience.
