Lord, I keep hanging on
with numb fingertips,
holding my last breath
until lungs ache,
but the fear grows,
the burden gets heavier,
crushing me to the ground;
and I lie prone in the dust,
pleading for help,
and questioning what I did
to offend you.

Sometimes, Gary, it only seems like He is looking the other way.  Chances are, we are feeling the weight of our own burdens because we refused to place them in His hand...

a good read, a timely reminder...Thank you!

Jonas; Even Our Lord had to bear the time of trial in the desert....this too shall pass and you will be all the better for it...I've been there and probably will again.  Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
