Dancing on God’s Finger One day while hiking in God’s creation I heard melodious sounds of God’s great outdoors A worm inched across my nail in dancing formation Little creatures were crawling my body o’er How very much our lives are like this tiny worm We feel so big, yet from God’s view we are small We move this way and that as we wiggle and squirm We dance on God’s finger; He holds us lest we fall I watched the worm on my nail doing a dance for me The worm inched his way slowly up my hand From falling, my hand served as his guarantee Did he realize I would hold him, did he understand I know, from God’s hand, I can not fall I am a child of my Heavenly Father for evermore I may inch along in this life; I may even crawl But I will dance for the One I adore I believe God delights in us as we delight in Him I'll dance my dance to bring Him Honor and praise I will dance with all my heart, and not on a whim I want to dance for Him all the rest of my days Written by, Wanda |

Oh, Wanda this is such inspirational insight for the Glory of His Love! So we shall dance to the Symphony of His Eternal dance of Divine Love!!! Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Joyce; Yes, it truly is a dancing for the Lord poem. :-) The dance represents my life; in that I want to live my life to please Him in all ways. I have a friend who painted a picture depicting a person dancing on God's finger. I was hooked; I knew I had to write a poem about that. Thank you Joyce for reading and responding. Wanda |

W. As usual, your light shines ever so bright and speaks so faithfully of He who has given us all we have. I will try to read more of what you share. And I thank you for all of what you have given each of us. |

This is a wonderful analogy and a beautiful message! May I copy and share with a friend who is a missionary for God? please e-mail me, if so. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Magnus; Sorry about that. I have my poems mixed up. Can you tell this has been an extremely busy day for me? I loved writing this poem "Dancing on God's Finger." I could visualize all this so clearly. My friend who painted this picture painted it after back packing in the mountains. She loves all sorts of little creatures. To her having an inch worm crawling on her hand was a sheer delight. I am glad you enjoyed reading it. Wanda |

Noah; One of the greatest things about knowing the Lord is knowing He will never leave us. Scripture tells us NO MAN can pluck us out of our Father's hand. Isn't that a blessing to know? Wanda |
