Light and Fog

The fog is lying on the hills
But through the opaque clouds there spills
A light so pure, you have to stay
And watch until it fades away.
It surely must be Heaven-sent.
The whole white mass is deeply rent
With rays of warmth.  A golden glow
Illuminates the ground below.
I stand in mist so damp and chill
But yet I linger, look my fill.
It grows and strengthens as I stare.
It captures me and holds me there.
I feel there is a message here,
As though an angel might appear!

Marge: I just knew there was an angel hiding in all that glorious light!  Thank you for pointing her out to me and isn't she a darling!

A imaginative contrast between the elements of fog and light expressed here.  I do believe that angels are near to help us through those foggy days.  God bless you. -Bob
