A thought of envy..
realization of pride..

motives of seeking
self-recognition....

judging others as inferior..
feeling separate,
and unworthy.

Self absorbtion

A decision to surrender
to Your Love, dear Lord.

A prayer to become...

Love

To become filled
with Your Grace.

yet, on and on the cleansing.
Will it ever end?

Or is it necessary,
this cleansing,
to gain humility?

and know
That Your Love
is made perfect
in weakness.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Ellie,

We do need to wring out that sponge of self on occasion and soak in the precious gifts that God has prepared for us... I so know what you are writing about.  -Bob
