Lord, I surrender to You my all,
All I am or ever hope to be
I have come to know You are able
To make me into something more than me.
I have tried before to go my own,
To search for a trail to be mine
I have suffered and strained and lost,
And been alone for a very long time.
But I have been shown a love by You
Unlike any I've had before
I truly know it comes from You
To confirm for my faith that you are the Lord

As I lay gazing at the stars
I know their number is the same
As the millions on this earth
Who will never understand Your name
I am in awe as I reflect
On all the people praying to You
Of all the prayers that come from Earth
You chose one of mine to come true.

Wow, an exceptionally beautiful poem. God has answered many prayers of late...and I am sure will continue to do so. What a blessing it is to have a place to share such wonderful poetry about God. This forum is an answered prayer for me.

Thank you for sharing this lovely writing. I was just thinking of the 9 lepers who didn't come back to say thank you, and how many times I've prayed, God's answered and I'm on cloud 9, but reallky don't spend enough time properly thanking Him.

What thankfulness! When we ponder things like this we can't help but be left in awe!
To fear the Lord, actually the word fear means to reverance, and reverance means to love or be in AWE of! And this would about sum that up! Beautiful!
