A Thousand Times

A thousand times I bow my head

Dear God, how can this be?
Though shattered hearts have no ears

who's numbered every hair on our head
who knows just how many tears we shed
and holds them all in a bottle
he holds our hand, when we draw near
and sheds with us
a thousand tears
there really is
no greater love

You are so right, Deb. He is always there and He sees and knows all about us. Kind of comforting to know someone was there with you when those tears were shed even if you weren't aware of it at the time. Nice write!
