I felt the angels teardrops,
As I walked outside today,
To my quiet garden,
Where I knelt down to pray;
The petals glistened softly,
As if from gentle rain,
But the little drops I saw today,
Were from the angels pain;
Even the dainty cherub,
Who held a mirrored ball,
Looked so sad and lonely,
As her tears began to fall;
I closed my eyes in humble prayer,
And saw the scene unfold,
Our Lord embracing many souls,
As they climbed the stairs of gold;
A loving smile for each of them,
Yet tears shone in His eyes,
As He looked down upon the earth,
And heard the sorrowful whys...
Opening my eyes and looking up,
An eagle soared with doves,
A sign of strength and tenderness,
For the children He so loves.....

Ah, Bonnie; How so beautifully sad and touching this is, we are all weeping with the angels and I am also so happy to see you back. Love and hugs, Ellie

Bonnie,

It is so nice to read your poems again from your sacred garden.  It is marvelous again to look into the spiritual world of angels and to watch those souls that were lost in the tragedy climb the stairs to Heaven to be with our Lord and Savior.  Your poem is so tenderly written and spiritually uplifting.  Thank you for sharing.  -Bob

This is beautiful and very touching. The angels have had plenty of help with their tears - your poem adds hope to the sadness. Well written.
