The dark hours come,
and I am aware
of all my failings.

I cry out to You
and You comfort me.
My tears flow as a childs
who is comforted and loved.

I hear Your Voice
gently calling me back
to this moment,
where You and I dwell,
and away from the confusion,
that I surrender to You.

And I ask to please
never let me go.
Carry me always
in Your Arms as a babe.

And You say...

"I'll only put you down
when we dance on the beach,
by the shores of my eternal Love."

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

It seems your poems just get lovelier and lovelier as they reflect a life of faith and dependency upon God which goes deeper and deeper.  "Oh how sweet to trust in Jesus!"
And how wonderful it is to share your experience with others as well!

Your poem is sensational.  To me you have expressed a wonderful Father-child relationship between you and your God.  I really liked the part where you and your Heavenly Father dance on the beach.   God bless you.  -Bob
