Read them the Bible daily Let them hear the precious word. It is the greatest story Humankind has ever heard. Do they know who is seated At the right hand of our God? Have they heard of his great gift In the shedding of His blood? If you would teach about Him, Read once again this story. It tells of how he suffered And how he lives in glory. You can read about His life In Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Turn to the Holy Bible Before one more day is gone. Gather the children round you, Read until they know it well. All about our loving Jesus And the Life these stories tell. Your mother read it to you, In your home so long ago. Now it's time to pass it on. There are some who do not know. By Joyce/ 8/21/01 |
