I SEARCH FOR YOU,
BUT I DO NOT SEE YOU.
I HEAR YOU,
YET I STILL DO NOT SEE YOU.

HOW DO I BELIEVE YOU,
IF I CANNOT SEE YOU?
I HEAR YOU.
I FEEL YOU.
STILL I DO NOT SEE YOU.

MY HEART SAYS TO TRUST YOU.
MY MIND SAYS LET IT GO.
I AM CONFUSED,
WHAT AM I TO DO,
IF I CANNOT SEE YOU.

I guess just like the old answer.  "Who has seen the wind?"  Faith is what it is all about.  We see the result of the wind .  We see His works all around u.  Joyce

We can see Him all around us every day, so I guess we don't have to see Him until He's ready.  Enjoyed your poem.

I think many have asked that very question.

It is the old addage about the wind.

We cannot see the wind, we see the AFFECTS of the wind, but we can't see the wind.

God is much the same, we can see the affects he's had on us and others, and in nature around us. His blessings are much the same. We see the "wind" rustle the leaves, but we don't actually see the wind. But we know there's air because without it we couldn't breathe. If you look closely, you'll see God in many things. We tend to explain away most of it. See the "affects" of His blessings, His peace, you'll know He's there if watch carefully and try not to explain away things as happenstance.

It's also in the Bible..."If you have seen the Son, you have also seen the Father.
Blessed are those who have NOT seen, yet still believe.

There are doubts that creep in, but you pray, you shall see He's there!

<*\\\><
Life may have influenced who we R, but we're responsible for what we become.
I don't question YOUR existance- GOD

"Seeing is believing" so the cynics say.
The soul provides the confidence in still antoher way.
In my heart is all the proof, needed just for me.
Faith guides my blindness, I believe... therefore, I see.

Like which comes first... does one believe to have faith... or .. does one have faith to believe?

Thanks for the thought provoking read.

PoeticGirl~

I believe in the wind ... for I feel it blow~
I believe in Him ... for He is the wind~
My faith in Him is carried on the wind~
He will bring me to His throne
where I will gaze upon His faith in me~

Continue your search ... you will find the faith
that lets you believe that which you cannot yet see.
And prepare for the joy when it comes~

A nice, sincere write~
Thank you for sharing~

Here are a couple of scriptures which have helped me to improve my spiritual "sight".  Maybe with some meditation (in the proper sense) these could help you.  Hope they bless you as they have me.

Stephen.

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints..."

Ephesians 1:17-18 (NIV)

"Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy;  without holiness no one will see the Lord"

Hebrews 12:14 (NIV)
