Ancient of Days

He speaks in parables softy
Of long lost sense of reason
In ancient words of wisdom
Forgotten by the world
Enlightening every wretched soul.

Words of regal dignity
Pearls of treasured worth
The secrets truths of eternal life
Cascade gently from his lips
Refreshing as spring rain upon barren wastes

Immortal to mortal, divinity to divine
From eternal light and everlasting spirit
To darkness bleak and cold
To bring new life, new hope...glory untold.

Wow how beautiful this is!

Isn't the wisdom of God found in the scripture beyond compare? And yet how often we prefer trivialities over these hidden treasures. May God enlighten us to the worth of his word.
