A Place For Me

Though buffeted on every side,
I watch for turnings in the tide.
For God is always near at hand.
I may not reach the goals I planned,
Nor get the things for which I pray,
But I keep trying anyway.
Just like a lonely sparrow, I,
Am searching for a bit of sky
Where sunlight floods each hill and tree
And there will be a spot for me.
It may not happen while I'm here
Upon this earth, but it is clear,
He will lead me to this place
And I will see Him face to face!

So true..... This world is not our home, we are just passing through it until we meet our Lord and Savior face to face one great day in Heaven. Nicely written and I'm looking forward to it. Bob <><
