Heaven's Resurection

Walking on golden streets,
I couldn’t believe my sight.
For ahead on the corner,
was a Thrift Shop on my right.
Peeking, I saw an angel
behind the counter there.
As I looked around the shop,
seemed everything was bare.
No clothes and no labels,
no old and slightly used,
no porcelain dolls on tables,
no abandoned nor abused,
no neglected, and no torn,
No, not a thing at all.
Then I asked the angel,
"What you got?" with a call.
He said, "I've had this old horn
what seems an eternity
and its all I've got left
in my shop of frugalty."
Then I asked the angel,
"Mind if I give it a try?"
"Go ahead..." The angel said,
"But, I really don’t know why?"
Lifting the horn to my lips
with one blow and flash of light--
Gabriel, horn, and angels
to earth have taken flight.
