truE facE

hE, who controls flame
bending itS wretched will
hE, who casts no shadow
in the brightest of days
walks, without touching the earth
and wears the Mark upon hiS hand
Affix a penny upon thy lips
and listen for the coyote to scream
You are safe, on consecrated ground
bound, on all sides by saltwater
the grimmest of nights is yet to fall
so be ye prepared!
When the wrath of hiS ung*dlY wayS
undoes the good of man
and dares to share itS truE facE!

W E L C O M E !

A very nice first post.... you have a unique signature to your poetry that I like putting capital letters at the end of some words.  This poem has a certain specter/phantom feel to it as I believe you describe the Anti-Christ walking without touching the earth and the coyotes really add to the mood.  Yep, gave me goose pimples all over. Welcome to the site and hope you'll stick around. Good poem!  Has an ominous atmosphere to it, which of course it should, given the subject matter. will look for more of your work.

Very genuine. Your description of darkness is well written. I know that I felt shadows near me. Goosebumps as well! But fear not for he will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Welcome to Spiritual Forums!
Sincerely,
Rwood

ah, yes, the capitals at the end of the words referring to hiM, totally the opposite of how we type referring to God

certainly adding to the definition of God's antithesis

well done, extremely!!!

WELCOME!

Aw guys, I am so warmed by all of your welcomes, and kind words!
White Dove:  That was the nicest gesture, showing me the card,
and was so unexpectedly delightful.  Indeed:  there were multiple
scriptures imbedded into this as you surmised!   Thank you, White Dove,
for being so kind!

To Lighthouse Bob:  (great name BTW *s*)  you have heard of accentuating
the 'positive', well, I guess I was accentuating the extreme negativE here.
I greatly appreciate your WELCOME.  My best to you as well, Amigo.

Trillium:  so very pleased that you enjoyed this.  I do enjoy spiritual
writing.  Will be posting again soon, if y'all don't mind. ~smiling~
The concept of hiM being here, send chills down my spine, too.
Please, have a greaaaat day!  Grateful thanks!

RoseWood:  I loved your reply. . .  awwww  I have felt those demons
close their dark talons around my heart all too frequently.   I dwell
in the spirit of Light, in fear that darknesS may overtake me.
You are ultra kind, in your welcome!  Thank you!

Joyce:  And what a splendid corner of the world 'tis, Joyce!
Truly a warm, and close knit forum of inspiration.
Thanks for reading, Joyce.

and to VAS:  you nailed the meaning of the letters, to a 'T'
and I am so thrilled with that.  The opposite of Him is unfortunately
hiM, but we know who wins, don't we?  grin  after all, we have
read the ending of the Book.    That was a great response, VAS.
Merci beaucoup, mon frere.
