to God, who gave me one weird stomach!

where is she?
the one you have made for me
the one you have made from me--
Lord,
educate me in love--
Lord,
i cannot sing like solomon!
i am not lucky like adam--
Lord,
to have her there in front of me
when i awake--

yet i dream,
i see her
i know her

did adam dream Lord?
did adam see eve in his dream?
did adam know she would be there
when he awoke?

yet i dream,
i see her
at the altar
waiting...

Lord, this pain in my stomach
has lasted since i last saw her--
physical--
in front of my eyes--
years i have longed--
to scapegoat my love--
but the pain--
in my stomach--
never goes away--
Lord,
i confess to you,

i am confused--

Dear Scout. I'm so sorry. I pray that you will wake and be surprised at the strength and goodness you will feel, pain free. And that someone special you long for will be by your side.
Sincerely,
Rwood

Dear Scout.  This is adorable.  I'm sure she's not very far.  Probably looking for fig leaves.  Joyce

But His word was in my heart
like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding back,
And I could not.

...and now, I believe the search for the af- part of fection begins.  Hey, I think adam had dreams... do I suppose his dreams had any influence on God's creation.  Hum? maybe... but then again he might have woken up and thought.... God, this is better than I ever could have imagined. Bob <><

Dear Scott,
Hey! this is Hannah (FalconWings13) I read this poem and I wanted to cry, I know that like you said no one can understand the meaning and only you do, but I felt like I at least I halfway understood. I'v wished someone would say they liked me, or loved me, not parents and their friends and ppl at church. But someone I know, like the guy in my karate class. I'v wished to be held, to wake up and see his face, to talk and share my feelings with him, to tell him how I feel.
I love your poem.

There are so many lonely people in the world and I'm sorry that you are one of them.  Don't give up hoping!

This one screams for someone to notice you and love you.  I hope that you find her.  Don't give up, she is out there somewhere waiting for you.  Good write.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.
