Lord please tell me what to do
I give my battered heart to You
So that in Your grace it may be restored
Reinforced to weather the swing of the sword

Please give me the strength and courage to see
All that I am and all I could be
Place Your wisdom inside my broken heart
Sharing with others I shall impart

Take this burden I feel from me
Allowing me to once again be free
From the bonds of sickness and pain
So that healthiness becomes ingrained

Mend that which has been torn
Wash my soul, make it reborn
Cast the Devil to the curb
Never again shall he disturb

I trust in You, my one true Lord
Abiding faithfully by Your accord
I lay my body at Your feet
Offering up surrender sweet

Thank you for sharing this prayer. I tried to pick a favorite stanza, but, each one is very special. Thanks.
