The sounds of whispers fill the air
And seem to come from everywhere.
Now is it just the snow that falls
And piles against the garden walls?
Or is there something else tonight?
Perhaps some angels in their flight,
Whose robes are sweeping to and fro,
Distrub the atmosphere and so
We hear soft whispers on the ground,
Because they're floating all around.

Trillium,

Lovely poem, the snow certainly does have the likeness of whispers,
because it covers the ground with such a wonderful pure white hush...
I only wonder what all of those angels might be talking about?
Perhaps they're saying, "Quiet!   Someone's meditating on the Lord."

Bob:  Thanks for your comments.  One night last winter when I could hear the snow falling, it did seem to be whispering, and this poem popped into my head. I imagine we provide the angels with endless topics of conversation!

These are lovely thoughts, Trillium.  Angels are truly everywhere.

by the grace of God.
