I leave this place for just a day.
The poems I've read have gone away.
And now there is a brand new crop,
Exhorting me to pause, to stop.

I read them all, scan every word.
So many ways to praise the Lord.
All of these voices raised in prayer,
So many songs from everywhere.

I read with joy, and as I do,
I wonder if He's reading too.
Or are they down on his big charts,
As those he's read within your hearts?

Ah, Joyce, we can be very sure that He wrote tham all Himself in our hearts before they even reach the paper or computer! Ellie

Really nice thoughts here, and penned so well. I am sure Ellie is right.. and as the song goes.. in my heart there rings a melody.. or Poem in this case.

Joyce I enjoyed this one! Seems as though every so often we can get an over abundant crop. LOL

Each one so special though, as I'm sure He smiles on each one of them.

This place can make time seem as though it's standing still as I drink in the images and thoughts so willingly shared by each. Then I glance at the clock and reality strikes!

You've said it so well, as usual, evidencing God inspires your writing. Thank you, once again.
