We were camping by the ocean, Where we heard the constant roar Of the ebb and flow of water, As for countless years before And the sun went down in glory, With a flash of brilliant light, To be followed by the advent Of a cool September night. When the morning dawned and trembled Just behind the eastern hill, We all watched for it's appearance While the sky began to fill With pink, puffy clouds and sea-birds And a misty, glowing light, That illumined rows of breakers, Which impressed us with their might. Then a gladness welled inside me For this opportunity, To vacation by the ocean. Part of nature's majesty! Betty Lou Hebert |

Trillium, You've caught this moment so well that I can almost feel the chill in the air and smell the salty sea breeze. I do love to watch and feel the power of the crashing ocean waves at night. Beautiful imagery. Bob <>< |
