Upon This Day

Upon this day, He wrote His name
across a blazing sunrise sky
In delicate hues with light infused
crimson clouds go drifting by

I only seek to thank Him
for joy beyond compare
All the blessings He sends my way
with good friends I must share

Take a little sunshine smile
share it with a friend
Then marvel as it grows and glows
A smile that has no end
