How Will I Know? Virginia Salter In the mirror is this face a face I see each day not much change is witnessed save what’s wrought with age So how do I know He’s made a difference there a woman, a man is all I see with graying, thinning hair Or maybe the one I view is but a child green and meek in what way can I know I’m filled with Whom I seek? How can I go forth spouting truths found in Your word When will I know they believe what they have heard? What will I see to prove I’ve done Your will? Have faith, my child, believe, listen and be still. ©April 29, 2001 |

Glad you enjoyed, that answer is supposed to be from the Lord, I was so hoping that would come across, but was certainly unsure I'd written well enough that it would. |

Just a "little word" from God will go a long way in helping us to know that we are His and in His will... and your character (that which I have read) confirms it all very well for me. I have no doubt of Him in you. Bob <>< [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (edited 05-01-2001).] |

A lot of good questions put forth here. If we are following what God has spoken in the Bible to us, then we are doing His will. Sometimes we plant a seed and get to see it grow. Sometimes we don't. But everything you do in the name of Jesus for another is all part of God's will. ![]() <*\\\>< |

What will I see to prove I’ve done Your will? Have faith, my child, believe, listen and be still. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a question I ask myself a lot. One day we will see him face to face. The most important thing we can do is, his will. I feel I often fail, but he is faithful to his word. He says we have not, because we ask not. I want to be more like him, and maybe what you write is the key... be still and listen with faith to believe he will do what he said he will do. Thank you for writing what my heart so much sees when I too look in the mirror. Deb |
