sometimes i can hardly get out of bed it hurts too much to know that i am dying that i dont deserve it that i am too young will i get to see all the things that i have never seen will i get to climb a mountian or write a book have a child or love a man probably not never tears fall sometimes when i think of all i will never have but for everyday i wake up hurting You renew me You remind me of all i already have of everything i have already seen of all i have already done my poems are my children and You are all the love that i need it is still unfair but was it fair for You to die so brutally so alone did You deserve that never and knowing what You did for me will give me the strength to die Isaiah 1:18 |

Oh my Dear. I never know when a poet is serious and when he is just inspired. I do hope everything is all right with you. Love, Joyce |

My thoughts are the same as Joyce. This appears to be for real, and not just inspiration so I want to add a few thoughts for you. First, you are very special to God. That you would write such a heartfelt poem, touches me as I am sure it does God. We have no answers as to why things happen the way they do, but we know without a doubt what the future holds in Christ...a promise of real joy and happiness is our heavenly home. The things he has in store are marvelous and more than we can understand. Still... you are here for a reason. God has a purpose for you, so keep writing and sharing with us. **HUGS** Deb |

Such a heart-rending poem. You must have great inner strength to write as you do and I hope that strength, which is God-given, will always be with you. Thanks for allowing us inside your pain. Betty Lou Hebert |

All of your poetry is heart touching..and I assume that your writing of approaching death is a reality in your life. I don't know what it would be like to be in that situation although I might tend to think it might be a blessing to have the time to prepare for it's approach. My son left this world suddenly..and it was so hard for his family..but I thank God he was living a Christian life and loved the Lord. Feel free to email me. God bless you and give you peace. |

this is awesome thoughts my friend..dieing at an early age..seems very unfair..but you put that very much into perspective in this poem..how fair is life at all..was it fair that He had to die as He did..? no.. you have a good attitude on death..i hope more will read this, as it has inspired me to find myself "living" more, day to day, while i have been given the chance to live.. hugs, g ~dgvarner/fallen rain~ |
