That tomb once owned by a rich man For Christ's lifeless form was giv'n, 'Cording to Providence Divine That He should die for our sins. And thus for a very brief while That tomb served it's purpose true, But on Sunday morn was empty And thus all the centuries through. And yet the emptiness of it Ironically speaks it's worth, For in that voided place of death We find means of a New Birth. Because that grave did no longer Hold His body, sacrificed, His Grace, our empty lives God gives Oh such fullness found in Christ. The fullness of that empty tomb Is my security, To fill me with His steadfast Love And to share Heav'ns Home with me! No Better Place do I know Than where Hearts knit as one, For in that grand experience, The Better ALL become. God Bless us All!!! [This message has been edited by deleeme (edited 04-15-2001).] |

David; This is a wonderful analogy of His Grace filling our empty hearts that only He can fill with overflowing Love. We can do nothing apart form Him! Today He is risen! Today, and every day, He is risen in our souls to bring new life and new hope and His glorious Love! Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Beautiful! And aren't we all to empty ourselves of ourselves and let Him come in to fill us, thus bringing to 'true' life who we really are? |

This is a very beautiful piece. And something that we should all consider very special. Wonderful comparison... I liked this a lot. --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |
