Life is a constant sequence
Of issues to be faced,
Some of which we must dismiss
Some we must embrace.

Sometimes life seems to go too fast
Other times, it seems too slow,
Are we caught up in life's right,
Or caught up in it's ebbing woes?

So many are caught up in Life's cares
And feel by life ensared,
Who instead, could be caught up
In the arms of Him who cared.

To Himself, us He invites
"Come all ye weary and labored,
I, the meek and lowly One
Will be your Loving Savior."

So the choice is left to us
What shall we be caught up in?
Caught up in Life's mess and stress
Or caught up cared by Him?

And if we should choose His help
We shall be caught up yet again,
When He comes to claim His Own
In the air, e'er to be with Him!

No Better Place do I know
Than where Hearts knit as
one,
For in that grand
experience,
The Better ALL become.

God Bless us All!!!

Although I ask our Lord's help in troubled times, I forget to dwell on the wonders of His loving care while leaving the problem in His hands.  Good reminder!

David; So grand, your poetic teaching here.
I so feel blessed that His Grace has led me from the cares of the world to His Loving Arms. I now know that when the cares and pain and hurts of life invade, I need only call His Name and run into His arms, and all is well once again!  Ellie

I have read this several times, and find something new to appreciate each time. I particularly like the different meanings of "caught up" you employ here. Thanks for sharing this.

Well said.

We will all be "caught up" one way or the other.  Let us choose to be caught up the better way, in the Spirit with Christ.

Stephen.

David,

A challenging poem for me to examine my life as to what I may be caught up in.  I can't help but think of fishing nets and my desire to be a good catch for Jesus Christ..... I do pray that Jesus will take my lowly talent and feed many......  God Bless You my Friend and may You and Yours have a Blessed Easter.
