The Lord has filled me with delight For all the natural world and I Can see His hand in everything Beneath His varied, endless sky. Each day I marvel at the earth He has created for our use And I deplore the signs it shows Of wanton neglect and abuse. How can man treat a gift so rare With carelessness and yet, I know, That God forgives and understands, Because He always loves us so And therein lies a miracle. No matter what mankind will do, He waits with His forgiving smile For sinners and repenters too! Betty Lou Hebert |
