This heart surrendered,
to Jesus, my beloved.
So His Spirit fills me,
transforming human failing,
into His Love Divine.

Now the love I have
was given and betrayed,
by a one who knew not God.
Betrayed too many times,
to dare to trust again.

Or shall I hope once more,
that love awaits me still?
I pray His will shall be,
fullfilled in love's own time.

For now He has my love,
now and forever more.
My heart is safe at last.
In Him I can surely trust.
My love, my life, my Jesus.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Yes Ellie,
the love of mankind will fade and fail, bringing dissapointment & heartache-- but the Love of the Lord is just as lasting as the day is long,just as deep as the lowest depths to which man has fallen, just as strong as intertwined cable of His heart and yours-created a strong connection to our Anchor of the Soul.
