As you stand at the gate
Of the next door of life

Are the fears of the unknown
Bringing you strife?

Are you afraid of what behind that door?

Perhaps your afraid
That the consequences of sin
Will sent you away
From the presence of God.

Perhaps you really realize deep down
That all the good works that you've done
Can't pay the admittance price
For the guilt of your sins

Perhaps you haven't heard
That your entrance
To a new and wonderful land
Has already been paid
By God's son

Only condition
Confess, Repent, and Believe

Confess that you've sinned
As all of us have done

Repent, tell Him your sorry
And by His help, you will change

Believe that He forgives you
Now you're His child

And He will welcome you home
The second you come through the door

Confess, repent and belief and he will set you free, what a wonderful future!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Oh, the Glory of it! I'll be with you there too, my beautiful poet friend...

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Songbird,

It is wonderful to know whose poromises in which we stand and that He has passed them on to us to share with others as you have done. Bravo! Bob <><
