A Bible within a Bible. 66 Chapters in Isaiah. 66 Books in the Bible. With accuracy of true proportion the PROPHET OF PROPHETS tells the Blessed And Holy Stories . Creation to Revelation. Hail to thee, Borther Isaiah! [This message has been edited by lordmakemeweak (edited 02-22-2001).] |

Other than the Psalms, possibly my favorite book of the Old testament is Isaiah. I once had a friend who asked rhetorically, "How did such a mighty river flow out of one mouth"? I share the same sentiment. How undeniably did the Spirit of God move upon this man to record such divine thoughts! I know the tapestry style layout of this book can be confusing since everything is not chronological... and sometimes Isaiah jumps from his own time to a prophetic panorama with little warning, causing us to question which is which sometimes. But this book is most rewarding when we abandon our hearts to the study of the "Spirit" behind it's texts. Also It's literary beauty has hardly been exceeded in my opinion. |

Nice read, one thing I am glad of here, it is easy to correct your mistakes just click on the envelope with the pencil on it, and you can edit your work, didn't know if you knew that. |
