it's bee some time since we last spoke
I've been busy You know
well with work
and family
and the things I'm supposed to do
some where in there I thought I had made some room
for You
but it slipped through the cracks
that sorround my soul
things got bad for a while
and it's easy to make time then
but soon I forget You again
and go back to the everyday blurr of life
I try to tell my self that I am okay
that I can take care of things
on my own
but deep down I know
that my life is nothing with out You
but untill I figure that out completely
I know You welcome me back everytime
I need You
and open Your arms for me to take comfort.

The Lord as well as I am happy to Welcome you back.  Let's just give Him a Big "Hallelujah" together....  I appreciate your honesty and I do admit that I am the same way about letting "things" get in the way of my time spent with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Wow!  I now know how you feel, because I was in a phase in which I doubted God and the Bible's validity.  I'm still pulling out of this.  How'd it happen?  Because I was farther away from God.  That's my one thing that I must say to skeptics of Christianity - Don't condem it till you try it.  And I don't mean going to church, I mean earnestly seeking God.
I think from now on, I'll be trying to stay close to Him.  I hope you have success in this as well.

Some days I feel as if I need to paste a "think of God" sign on my nose...then there are other days all I can do is thank Him...

good reminder...

It's only in the times we think we can do it alone, that we realize how much we need Him...It's called growth. Ellie

You know, I just posted a story on my web site, that reminds me of this very poem. How we remember God when things go bad. We remember to blame Him for OUR shortcomings, and screw ups. But how often do we remember to thank Him when things in our life are good?

We do so often get carried away in the 'blur' of our life, that's so true. And you're so right, He does always take us back.
This leaves one with a warmness in the heart.
Great job!
