Problems abound
in every life.

Jesus, You tell us..
"Come to Me
and I will give you rest..."

I know in my head,
that when
I surrender my troubles,
You do not need my help.

But my heart
wrestles,
still trying
to find solutions,
and ways,
to solve my woes.

I'm slowly
learning,
Your grace is
sufficient,
to solve it all.

Please Lord,
the grace
to know,
You really
don't need my help,
just
my faith in You.

Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart.

Dear Ellie,
What a sweet poem of surrender and trust!
I love the humble submission, the positive acceptance, the keen perceptiveness I see in so many of your poems.  I am reminded by this particular poem, of the verse in which Jesus says,"With man it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible!"
Thank you for reminding us & encouraging us in the ways of Humble trusting & cooperation with our God who IS Able!

To put together words & rhyme--and touch a life--is so sublime! Thank God for such precious contact! (D.L.White)

It is wonderful when we can come to that understanding.... and let go and let God do his miraculous work in our lives.  We are saved by God's Grace and not by our own works.  Thank you for reminding me that His Grace is sufficient. Love in Christ, Bob <><

Very humble prayer Ellie! This is a great reminder for all of us. I think we all try to let go and let God, while trying to hang onto it ourselves.

This is one to be read over and over again.

but I know Who holds the future.

I don't question YOUR existance - GOD
