Dear Lord, I pray for the strength To face the trials placed before me I pray for the power To walk away when I need to I pray for the wisdom To make the right decisions I pray for the patience To take things in due time I pray for the grace To walk this road before me I pray for the courage To ask for Your guidance I pray for the compassion To put myself in another's place I pray for the humility To give glory to You forever and ever Amen ---------------------------------------------------- Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Lovely prayers, thank you for sharing... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

A prayer worth reading and definitely worthy of memorizing. Beautifully spoken. A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses. author unknown |
