Do we ever really know, what's in anothers heart, if we but only see the exterior of a man? Could we possibly begin to guess Gods plan for such a one? For a mighty warriors soul might lurk beneath a homeless one, and His plan to bring our hearts to heights of generosity. Or a one who is full of hatred and didain, is but the morrow to be touched, and healed by Gods own Hand. Let us then be mindful, of our own inner man. For only God and i walk this narrow road. Tis our hearts we must be mindful of, all else be left to God. Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart. Joseph Fort Newton |

My first visit to Spiritual Journeys, and first poem I read in here....I love it and plan to save it in my library, because it has such persoal meaning for me, as the church I was raised in is so quick to judge it's members. Your poem is so full of m own feelings. Just what I needed at this time. Thank you. |

Ellie so true! Excellent reminder to look within ourselves. For God is the judge of us all. <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. I don't question YOUR existance - GOD |

Ellie, topical message...and please know...I do not...lest I be... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

ellie, Wonderful message my friend. We must accept ourselves for others to accept us. Well done. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

I know it's strange... Your poem reminds me of all the pretty covers people like to put on their Bibles, but it's what is in the inside that really counts. God Bless You, Bob <>< |
