One lone tear drop

I wanted to cry a flood of tears
to get my sorrow out
but some where in the darkness
I felt You
Your comfort
the peace You bring to me
the love You offer me
You whispered gentally in my ear
"My child I am here for you if
you would only see
that my son suffered for you
so you could bring this pain to me,
To hold this to yourself would be a shame
when I am here for you
for all of your days"
I knew what He said was true
and I tried so hard to give this up
but for reasons even I do not know
I held on to a little peice of misery
and felt the one lone tear drop fall.

Such a heartfelt piece Dana ~ As Ellie said, sometimes we have to go through the pain, just to get past it...but, He's always there to help us through. Bonnie

This is so deeply touching, I'm left in thought. Oh to Let Go and Let God is an easy thing to say, but a difficult thing to do.

We do need to remind ourselves that He can do so much better with our problems than we can. For us they are mountains, to Him they are nothing at all.

So wipe that lone tear drop, and hand it over in assurance, that He has our best interests at heart. ((((hugs))))

Beautiful writing! I have gone through this sort of thing. It's hard, a lot of the time, to remember to cast all our anxieties on him.
