Cradled in the hands of God Each babe aborning lies Whispering soft and low Soothing pre-birth cries Love all, young one, God imparts Be free in all you do Love thy father and mother For they will love you too Be gentle in your dealings With those who have less And I will surely see that Your life, I will bless Give your heart freely Give your hand to any man And you will be, my child, As close to me as you can |

Sharon; This is a tender sweet poem, yet richly filled with faith and wisdom. Love, Ellie Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart. Joseph Fort Newton |

Hi Sharon, Without His cradling arms, I do not know where I would turn sometimes. He is ever so faithful to hold us. Wonderful poem and beautifully written. |

Thank you all..this one was written for the Challenge from Hoot a few months ago..there was a photo of a tiny newborn held in a man's hands and this is what I thought it represented. A little nurturing from God before we're born. ![]() |

This is a wisdom piece- inspired by the picture of a newborn-craddled in someone's hands--this well goes with that picture. The challenge though long delayed, was well met. David |
