I thank God for Providential Care,
For needed things, just like the air
Which I oft' for granted take,
Yet He provides it for my sake.

So many things that I have overlook'd,
But would be distressed, if them He took
He's shown more Care than we know,
The genuineness of His Love to show!

For who we are and what we can be,
All these are a Gift from Thee
Received by Thine Initiative,
Detailed Goodness, You so give.

I'm awed by this, when I recall,
Your Gifts are not a "One-Size-Fits-All"
But Tailor-made, to each You've given,
Perfect for Each Life and livin'!

So in this time of Thankfulness,
As I Remember how much I'm Blessed
Help me pause---renew my sense,
To appreciate Thy Great Providence!

Dear David; You have a majestic style of writing that is so uniquely you! In this beautiful poem of thanksgiving, that majesty comes forth to praise and glorify our Lord.
He has deemed it that your spirit be filled with the humility and gratefullness that is needed to heal and uplift us all, as your friend, for this I am ever grateful. Love, Ellie

David, With your flair for humor and knowledge of truth, you have shared a most beautiful poem of wisdom and gratitude to God. It left me with a smile and a prayer of acknowledgement of thankfulness to God for His Grace to us. Just beautiful.  Marcy

I really like your style of writing.  I also like how you brought out the fact that God individualizes each one of us.  I'm looking forward to more of your great pieces.  Roger
