for the snow that fell today for the coat I could put on and the pink and warm gloves for the roof that no longer leaks and the sink that no longer smells for the water that runs warm or cold but clean for the blanket that covers the drafty door for the dollar that allowed me to buy seven meals of noodles for the kitty that warms me in my sleep for the brother who respects me and grows closer to You for the mother who worked so hard all alone to show me love for replacing the father i no longer know for the moment I got to know my sister and for the knowledge that I will see her again for the car that sometimes runs and the legs that carry me when it doesn't for the hands that are craked and ugly but whole so I can thank You with my words for the book that helps me learn and draws me closer to You for the one and only perfect man who died for me before I was even born so that one day I could run to You and thank You with a hug. < !signature--> Isaiah 1:18 "Everyone loves a rose, will you be thankful for the thorns?" Thank you for this beautiful poem! I loved it! All the little things and the big ones too, but most of all for His love. Ellie le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne con-nait point....the heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of.. |

Your optomisim is enchanting. I wish I could look at my roof and be thank ful that it no longer leaks, all I see is a water stain that is dirty and needs to be fixed, when my car doesn't start I am put out and will sit and wait for a ride. Never change your love for your God. It is reasureing. MF 'In my eyes I see a blur of things that others see so clearly' |

"So that one day I could run to You and thank you with a hug"... Oh what a great image this brings to mind. This is perfect Allstaria, reminding us to be thankful for everything, big and small that we so often take for granted. Love it. Bonnie |
