There was a time in my life,
when I knew not gratitude,
only neediness.
Never the realization,
that this came from within,
not outward cicumstances,
but the need in my soul,
that only Your Love,
my Lord, could fill.

And so, You came gently,
with Your Grace,
and You prepared a table
before me, in the presence
of my enemies, the demons
within.
So they fled and my being
then overflowed with Grace.
You annointed my head with
the oils of Your Grace
and my whole life changed,
and blossomed.
I grew in wisdom and love,
from within.

So that now my eyes fill
with tears of joy!

How can I thank You enough,
my beloved Jesus,
for Your abundance of Love
on this child,
that You now call Your own.

Ellie,
Your wise perspective is the result of experiencing the love and forgiveness of the God that waits patiently to bless us. I'm glad you were able to find that place of peace, contentment and thanksgiving, and to share it with us so eloquently! Bless You!

How wonderful to take a theme from the 'Sweet Psalmist of Israel' , to build on it and to make a wonderful psalm all your own to give praise to our God.

Enjoyed this much.

Stephen.
