He comes to me
in the stillness
of a blackened night
Lifting my spirits high
as I soar with Him in flight
He brings comfort
as I love Him aloud,
through tears
I worship Him in song,
a Host joins in
praising His name
the joy is received
and His presence made known

He stays for a while,
till my soul is refreshed
then turns to my angel
with words to impart
and kissed my forhead
as I'm walked through the dark

Sleep comes easy
with angel kisses
peace within so sweet
knowing all is well
This is special,
Jesus, is secure within

Marcy, It is indeed a wondeful and serene moment when we can truly sense the LORD's presence in our life. what quiet power He gives us- and the world seems so distant and harmless, so that we can repose in blessed rest- trusting in His awesome care. Thank you for sharing this one with us. David
