You only do I seek with all my heart,
That we may be as one, ne'er to depart
Just as the tides rule seas in mighty ways
You rule my soul completely all my days.
Your waves of Grace wash gently on my shore,
Debris of all my sin shall be no more.
And as the sky turns gray o'er roiling sea,
Fierce winds of change and storm filled memories,
All vanish come Your Son's arising morn.
Dawns birth of days, a new soul is reborn.
A newborn babe now plays upon your shores;
A child once more on wings of Grace doth soar.

Ellie,
Beautiful praise and worship poetry, wonderful use of natures scenes for your illustrations of your relationship with God and His Son. I was blessed by the reading of this poem.

Ellie,  WoW!!! I mean, Wow!!
This poem says so much...

"Your waves of Grace wash gently on my shore,
Debris of all my sin shall be no more."

When young people or new christians, with no exposure, to the teachings of God, think it impossible (or, expect it to be, too hard) to live a sin free life! ..and here you show...it is impossible and God doesn't expect us to be sin free or perfect..
(only know of One-Jesus)! Each time we ask Jesus to forgive our sins, "Debris of all my sin shall be no more."  each day, each sin, he forgives and the sin is outta there!!

You know I love this one!  Sorry for rambling again...and again..  Marcy

Ellie~
How lovely are your phrases in His praise.

'Your waves of Grace wash gently on my shore'

When the tide
Oh, when the tide
of His ever caring grace
comes rolling in
Across the shore of me
I'll be washed forever free
from my sins
from my sins
He's set me free

When He lifts me to the land
and holds me gently in His hand
The tides of His salvation will set me free

Oh, when the tide
Oh, when the tide
Of His salvation comes sweeping across the land
I will go
Yes, I will go
I'll walk forever with Him
in the land of promise that He made for me

When His glory washes me
on the shore so heavenly
I will sing His praises
yes, His praises
for all eternity

*Well, didn't you just inspire a song to
come bursting forth from this heart.
How can I thank you ?
I just love it when that happens !
Bless you~

...and I'll join in with bass...

"O'er the rolling sea
Upon the wayward tide
O'er the rolling sea
Upon the ocean wide
O'er the rolling sea
Upon the waves I'll glide
O'er the rolling sea
Unto my Savior's side..."

Hey, what do You say... lets make "A Song to My God" together.  I love making music for our Lord and Savior.  What do You say, I really think we'll have a number one hit.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Hey, you guys are so great! We've got a regular song feast going on here and I know Jesus is loving this.
O'er the sea
O'er the sea
You and me
You and me
oh, how happy we'll be!
You set us free
set us free
as we sing our song to Thee!

ok, guys, we're cooking now!
