Your Silent Beckoning

Silent beckonings resting within your every word
Joy of the heart felt from your walk with the Lord
These messages from your soul were so easily heard
Massaging my soul deeply with the swiftness of a sword

Reaching out in a gesture of friendly chat and compromise
You set your lines on the dedication of what you hold so dear
Your words and your belief were not heard but seen with my eyes
As with one line in one letter I found myself now shedding a tear

I have known the walk and the breath of His salvation's light
I have lived in the warmth of his forgiving and devine love
Where once I walked with confidence and eternity in my sight
I let it go in a moments weakness forgetting of heaven above

Your entrance to life and your song of his eternal being
Your voice of all that your spouse and you so openly share
Causes this heart to open the soul as in the first time seeing
Knowing that you truely believe and are not afraid to share

For you and yours and all that you share with so much love
And all the trust in you gave in taking a chance to spred his word
I write this for you and rest it on the wings of the purest dove
So that you will know just how loud your voice was truely heard.

No words can express the warmth in my heart right now.
My dear friend Mark, no kinder words could have been said.
If I can show a spark of hope in the love of Jesus, and all he has done for me, then that is why I exsist.
It truly is in the silent beckoning that Christ calls us.
Hugs,
Debra

A soft voice with strong emotion, a very nice tribute to Blooming Rose and her testimony of Christ...

...and I knew it would happen.

God Bless You in your walk with Him, Bob <><

How beautifully you express your appreciation and how wonderfully His Grace shines through each of us to touch each others hearts. Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Debra-Thank you for showing me what I was lacking and doing it so silently and gently.  I will forever cherish you for this and for being such a dear friend.  I just wanted the world to know just how much your friendship means to me and in doing so I hope you know as well.

Bob-Thank you and it is you that drug me in here to begin with and I thank you for that also.  Debra is a very special angel in my life right now and this is just a small tidbit of how much her friendship has meant to me.  Yeah, I kinda thought you would have known.   Thank you again kind sir.

ellie LeJeune-Thank you so much.  I tried to show exactly what she has done for me and her patient ways in doing so and it truely was just one single line in a letter that did it all finally.

Karilea-Thank you and I hope to someday do the same for someone else that she has done for me just so that I can honor her as well as Christ and to show her that she really did make a difference in my life.  She deserves all the credit but I know that is not where she will rest it and maybe that is as it should be.

MarkB~
Another lovely and thoughtful render from you.
Aren't we blessed with friends who touch our hearts with their tender wisdom ?
Yes, and He sends them to us in our time of need.

Beautiful, loving and heart felt poem, Mark...but, then that is alway the way you write...and even though you were writing to one person, you have shared it with a multitude.
