hi everyone, before i write out my poem, i just have to say, wow, i havent been in here for a LONG time.. most of you probably dont remember me, but i hope you like this poem i wrote about myself..here it goes... I'm lost, but dying to be found. I live in my own little world, my own place in life. It seems that everyone else is in one place, and then, there's me, alone. I go to where they're at, and I hate it. I love the people I'm close to, and I love them more than anything, but I hate that I'm in a different place. I wanna share my place, my utopia, with someone. I want to show them my world, make them understand. Only one person, ONE person has come close to my place. I can't stand to be alone, but, why should I always be where everyone else is? For once i want someoen to come with me. And, the only person I can see doing that with me is him. well i hope you like the poem..the last line does include a name in my poetry book i write in, but sorry, i wanted to keep that private, and leave it as "him" ![]() |

I both like and understand your writing, but wish I hadn't read your comment concerning the referral to "him" as I was certain it was Jesus as I finished the poem. I felt the same way for so long till I came to the wonderous realization that Jesus thoroughly understands every iota of our being, thoughts, dreams, hurts, disappointments, etc. Fully realizing this brought me such peace and security. |

I thought your name looked familiar! ![]() Welcome back! I can understand where you're coming from here. I've felt that way many times too. Sometimes if we look within, we need to expand our horizons, and reach out to others. Take a step back and see how others view it as well. If we keep to ourselves, others tend to think we aren't friendly, or want their friendship. Sometimes, we are the ones who need to take that first step, and reach out for that friendship. As for the Spiritual aspect of it, Sandgrain is right. For you are never alone! Jesus is with you always. I certainly hope you'll find a home here, as well as friends you can let in to your world. I know being lonely isn't fun to say the least. Wishing you the best. ![]() <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. |
