every time you feel lost, i'll be there.
every time you feel lonely, i'll be there.
whenever you need someone to guide you, i'll be there.
whenever you need someone to hold you, i'll be there.

just as you thought that someone was looking over your shoulder, it was me.
just as you thought when someone was carrying you, it was me.
just as you thought that you felt a touch to your lips, it was me.
while you were dreaming that someone was moving the hair from your eyes, it was me.

when you were sad and feeling pain, i whispered your name.
when you heard the wind blow, i whispered your name.
when the tide of emotion overtakes you, i whispered your name.
the sound of my voice carries like the echo of a canyon when i whisper your name.

if your feet should slip and you need something firm, i will be your rock.
if you should ever need to grasp onto something, i'll be your rock.
if you ever need to build a solid foundation, i'll be your rock.
all that you need to do whenever your in need is to lean on me, i'll be your rock.

i will carry you when you cannot walk, i will be your strength.
i will dry the tears from your eyes, i will be your strength.
i will keep you from all harm, i will be your strength.
as you are the strength that moves me, i am your strength.

me.

This is great! An absolute terrific message brought to us in this! It helps us to realize that God is everywhere, in all that we do, offering His help, showing He cares. Brings to mind the song "you Are My Rock" ... "you are my rock, (you are my rock), my fortress my field, you are my rock, (you are my rock), let your strength be revieled, my rock, my comfort, my peace, my salvation, my refuge, my God, you are my rock..." Great poem and great message....good job!

I know last time I read and responded to this I started singing a song LoL, but I do have something a bit more important to add...You know, there is always a rash of supernatural claims in times of personal frustration. When people can't see any answers to their problems of life, they look inward-resulting in depression and despair, or upward to spiritual signs or seers. Mysticism and the occult were powerful in the MIddle Ages, and the fascination today-UFO's, miracle claims and visions-is actually a cry for answers.
The believer, by contrast, has his feet on the sold rock. The Lord is his refuge and strength. He is reassured and has learned, "Be still and know that I am God"
Today, we must reflect on how wonderful it it to be at peace with God, to know that our sins are forgiven and to be unaffected by the shifting hopes of modern man.
