Dedicated most of all to God, but also to all of the campers and staff from youth camp, '98. I wrote this after a tornado ripped through my church camp that is well over 100 years old, but not a single person was hurt, and nothing touched the old sacred building, which holds a special place in our hearts. You were there, your cross was not harmed. You were there, you had us cradled in your arms. You showed us your power as you showed us your love. You showered us with mercy from the heavens above. In the darkness... you were there. In the quiet... you were there. Your power was amazing, your grace was overwhelming. Your spirit was overflowing, our bodies could not contain. We were blessed with your compassion, we were convicted because of our shame. We were rewarded with your presence, we were saved by your pain. What more can be said *except* Our God is an AWESOME God. I run, I fall. I walk, I sometimes crawl. I give, I take. I bend and yet somehow I break ~Lil OnE~ |

Amen! Fantastic job! Your poem flowed with so much truth and love for Jesus. Thank the Lord no one was hurt and the church left in place. Thank you for sharing the inspiration for this poem. Love, Marcy |

You did an awesome job describing His awesomeness! I love it. It's such a blessing and something that will never be forgotten when you can find God in a situation like this one. Best yet, you see the blessings He showered on all! <*\\\>< Be an organ donor...give your heart to Jesus! |
