If I could walk
in the stroke of the Almighty's pen
and never deviat- not
even now and then;
I would eliminate how
and when, and my days
would never end.

If I truly knew love,
not just as a thing from above
but as an entity
within me;
then I'd know peace,
and would be freed from
the dictates of
South, North, West & East;
and have no need
for borders to say the least.

Who shot the beast?

If I knew how to be humble,
yet confident enough not to fumble;
then nothing I built would crumble,
'cause then I'd be one with the
land and the sea,
and whether or not the weather
was fair or foul
would not be an issue for me;
'cause I'd reflect
the image of the Creator you see.

Anybody hearing me?

If I could understand faith.
(not in the sense that I hope,
pray & wait) but understood
it so that I could unlock any gate;
then I would be liberated
from the dictates of this or that state,
and would(as I live)create.

Only then would I have no need
for the demon of hate/
'cause I'd understand
that to be called small
is to really be great.

But I falter constantly.
