And should the hill just be my grave, know that I left, duly saved... Sunny ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Helen Keller ~~~ When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Oh Rex I'm sorry...LOL at me...this is truly a beautiful and simple poem, very beautiful, but it sounded so much like a tombstone marker I could not resist my comment... out here in Kansas...we have some that read just like that! Regards, Sunny ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Helen Keller ~~~ When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Reminds me of a song that goes..there is a place of quiet rest near to the heart of God..sometimes we just have to shut out the world to get there.. |

Rex, This sounds to me like the words from a tranquil heart at peace with God, not fearing death, but freely accepting it as a part of Life. Simple and serene! Thank you, David "GOD GIVES- but man must open his hand." (German Proverb) |

Rex; wonderfully serene and lovely...only in the quiet can we hear the still small voice of God! Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. eL |

Rex - So few words with which you have painted a beautiful picture. Sure would be a nice little addition to the book... Bonnie |

Bonnie: Thanks very much. I appreciate your comments. I do not offer my poetry for the book submission as it is already published in my book "Songs of Sorrow". I don't want to take up space other poets can use to see their work in print. Thanks again. Bonnie....Thank you. Since you don't have an E-mail address I will have to post this here. If you are interested in my poetry, the book is "Songs of Sorrow", ISBN: 0533130166, and is available on Amazon.com The Amazon site will tell you how the book came to be, give you a table of contents and provide some customer reviews. |
