Storms of Life Heaven roars with thunderous sounds Lightening zappes the sky Winds skirting to and fro Darkness all around Amber clouds giving birth To balls of piercing ice Amid summers humid air Conditions now just right Awaiting, the deadly strike The power of the storms of life Destructive ways within No man can calm the storms inside No man, but ONE who can Call to Jesus, ask Him in He doesn't force us too Replace the raging of the storms With peace to see them through |

Dear Marcy; The peace beyond all undestanding! This is a wonderful poem and beautifully written. I've missed you here. I'm glad to see you back and writing your poems that are always so inspirational. Love, Elie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. ell |

A great image of a furious storm pierced by the strong assurance of our Lord within bringing us peace to endure. Oh how we need it. Thank you for reminding us. |
